Bruckner’s Truck & Equipment Expands with New Acquisition
Bruckner’s Truck & Equipment announced on Thursday that it has acquired Transport Equipment Inc. (TEI), allowing the company to enhance its presence in Washington while also adding locations in Idaho and Montana.
Commitment to Legacy and Customer Service
Brian Bruckner, president of Bruckner’s, expressed enthusiasm about the expansion: “We are excited to broaden our reach in the Pacific Northwest and carry on the legacy established by the Bidlake family. As a second-generation dealership, they have built a solid reputation for outstanding customer service and a ‘do whatever it takes’ approach. We are dedicated to maintaining this high standard with the existing team.”
History of Transport Equipment Inc.
Founded in 1983 by Steve and Betty Bidlake as a Timpte Trailer dealership, TEI quickly grew to include truck sales by 1985. The business has been successfully operated by multiple generations of the Bidlake family since its inception.
Shared Values and Future Prospects
Brian Bidlake remarked on the acquisition, stating, “Observing Bruckner’s growth and success has been truly motivating. Their dedication to family values and impeccable customer service aligns with our principles. We trust that Bruckner’s will support our employees, customers, and communities effectively, and we feel confident in entrusting the business to them.”
Enhanced Offerings for TEI Customers
With this acquisition, TEI’s customers will benefit from increased access to Mack and Volvo trucks, a wider selection of trailers, an expanded parts inventory, and improved service options.
Investing in People and Service
Chris Bruckner, vice president of Bruckner’s, emphasized the company’s commitment to quality service: “Since our establishment in 1932, we have focused on investing in our staff to provide exceptional service. TEI has laid a strong foundation by equipping its team and facilities with top-notch tools and training. We are eager to build on their achievements and continue providing top-tier trucks, trailers, parts, and service to our new customers in Idaho, Montana, and Washington.”
Growth and Expansion of Bruckner’s
This latest acquisition brings Bruckner’s total locations to 41 across 10 states. Founded in 1932 by B.M. “Benny” Bruckner Sr., the company is currently under its third generation of family ownership and has recently opened new stores in Louisiana, Arkansas, and Oklahoma.
