Busy Racing Week at Grandview Speedway
The action-packed week of races at Grandview Speedway continues as the Memorial Day holiday approaches, with another NASCAR Local Racing Series Powered by O’Reilly Auto Parts event scheduled for this Saturday night.
Saturday’s Race Features
The event on May 23 will showcase the T.P. Trailers & Truck Equipment NASCAR Modifieds, T.P. Trailers & Truck Equipment NASCAR Sportsman, and the Outlaw Racing Series Vintage cars.
Race Details
This Saturday’s racing card will include qualifying heats leading to a 30-lap feature for the Modifieds and a 25-lap feature for the Sportsman, along with a 15-lap main event for the Vintage cars.
Schedule and Admission
The races will start at 7:30 pm for the summer season. Pit gates will open at 4 pm, with the grandstand gates opening at 5:30 pm, and warm-ups commencing at 6:30 pm. Admission for adults is $20, while students aged 10-15 with ID will pay $10, and children 9 and under enter for free. Pit admission is $35 for NASCAR members and $45 for non-members.
Trivia Night and Meet & Greet
This Saturday also marks the first Trivia Night of the season, where fans can compete for prizes by answering questions about Grandview Speedway racing. Prior to the race, there will be a weekly meet and greet hosted by Brittany Huber and Jennifer Umbenhauer, featuring Modified driver Ryan Graver and Sportsman driver Jimmy Leiby.
Upcoming Events
Next Saturday, May 30, will feature another double-header program with TWIN 25-lap features for the Modifieds and more action in the Sportsman division. Additionally, the fan-favorite match races, dubbed The Low Down Throw Down, will take place on June 20 and July 4.
Current Season Highlights
This season, no driver has won twice in the Modified division, with victories going to Louden Reimert, Jared Umbenhauer, Duane Howard, Ryan Watt, and Jeff Strunk. Meanwhile, Brad Brightbill recently became the first repeat winner in the Sportsman division. Fans can expect an exciting night with a diverse field of competitors.
