Grandview Speedway Gears Up for Second Racing Event

After a successful and thrilling opening night last Saturday, Grandview Speedway is set to host its second racing event of the new season this Saturday, April 11.

Racing Schedule

This weekend features a two-division racing program under the NASCAR Local Racing Series Powered by O’Reilly Auto Parts, showcasing the T.P. Trailers & Truck Equipment Modifieds and Sportsman divisions. Each category will hold qualifying races that lead to the main events: a 30-lap race for the Modifieds and a 25-lap race for the Sportsman. Racing begins at 6 PM, with pit gates opening at 3 PM, grandstand gates at 4 PM, and warm-ups starting at 5 PM.

Admission Prices

Adult grandstand admission is $20, while students aged 10-15 with ID can enter for $10. Children aged 9 and under can get in for free. Pit admission costs $35 for NASCAR members and $45 for non-members.

Points Standings Update

Following last Saturday’s VP Racing Fuels Bruce Rogers Memorial, Louden Reimert leads the T.P. Trailers & Truck Equipment Modified standings after winning the season opener. Eleven-time champion Jeff Strunk follows in second place, with last year’s Freedom 76 winner, Eddie Strada, in third. Danny Bouc and Billy Pauch Jr. round out the top five points positions.

Sportsman Division Highlights

The T.P. Trailers & Truck Equipment Sportsman division saw 2019 Track Champion, Brad Brightbill, secure the feature win and take the lead in the points standings. Jesse Leiby finished second and holds the second position in points, while New Jersey’s Matt Peck, Jordan Henn, and Addison Meitzler occupy the next three points spots.

Upcoming Events

On Friday, April 17, the Outlaw Racing Series Enduro and Vintage cars will take the track, along with the Keystone Sport Compact Series Four Cylinders and the Xcel 600 Modifieds, starting at 7 PM. Grandstand admission is $10, with free entry for children 12 and under, and pit admission at $35.

Exciting May Events

On Saturday, April 18, another two-division program will take place featuring the Modifieds and Sportsman, leading up to their respective main events. Anticipation builds for the upcoming Kyle Larson/Brad Sweet Interstate Batteries High Limit 410 Sprint Car Series event on May 19, starting at 7:30 PM, with a rain date set for May 20. Advance tickets can be purchased via HIGHLIMITRACING.COM.
