Phyllis Godwin Joins NTEA Board

Phyllis Godwin has been appointed to the Board of Directors of NTEA – The Work Truck Association.

A Journey of Commitment

Godwin’s journey reflects her dedication and leadership, along with a strong commitment to her community. She started her career at the age of 16 in her family’s small welding and repair business located in Dunn, N.C., eventually gaining experience in nearly every position within the company.

Current Role

She currently holds the position of corporate vice president and co-owner of The Godwin Group, which is recognized as the largest family-owned truck body and equipment manufacturer in the United States.

Community Impact

“In Harnett County, we have the privilege of witnessing her leadership firsthand. As the former Chair and current Secretary/Treasurer of the Harnett Economic Development Corporation (HEDC), Phyllis has been instrumental in fostering industrial product development and promoting quality job creation,” remarked county officials in a LinkedIn post honoring her achievements.

A Leadership That Matters

Her recent appointment to the NTEA Board during Work Truck Week underscores the kind of leadership that bolsters both industries and communities.
