WASHINGTON, March 2, 2026 /PRNewswire/ — Sentry has announced the renewal of its partnership with the American Trucking Associations (ATA) for another three years. This collaboration, which focuses on providing robust insurance solutions and advocating for the trucking industry, emphasizes their shared dedication to improving civil justice reforms that safeguard trucking fleets and bolster the sector overall.

Sentry’s partnership with ATA highlights its commitment to flexible insurance solutions and vital support for fleets of all sizes. The firm offers a diverse range of coverages, including auto liability, physical damage, general liability, motor truck cargo, and innovative options like cyber liability and data breach response, addressing the changing demands of motor carriers.

Working closely with ATA, Sentry’s initiatives extend beyond insurance, focusing on advocacy at both state levels and in Washington, D.C., to combat lawsuit abuse aimed at trucking firms. Sentry actively engages in discussions surrounding legal reforms in the trucking industry and issues such as exploitative towing practices that inflate claims costs.

“Truckers are essential to our economy, often navigating complex and evolving challenges,” said Scott Miller, President of Commercial Insurance Agency & Broker at Sentry. “Our goal is to support fleets with the necessary coverage, safety expertise, and claims assistance for confident operations. Our partnership with ATA showcases our collective commitment to safeguarding the trucking industry and advocating for favorable policies.”

In addition to customized insurance, Sentry provides fleets with a specialized claims team and a comprehensive safety services program specifically tailored for transportation risks. Given the crucial role trucking plays in moving goods nationwide, Sentry aims to help fleets run safely and efficiently.

“We appreciate our ongoing collaboration with Sentry, which leverages industry knowledge, personalized insurance offerings, and strong advocacy efforts for fleet safety,” said Michael Doran, Senior Vice President of Membership and Allied Partnerships at ATA. “Together, we will continue to advocate for the industry and protect the drivers and businesses that keep America moving.”
