17th Annual Transportation Conference in Indianapolis

Starting on September 13 in Indianapolis, FTR’s 17th Annual Transportation Conference will feature two days of specialized truck-related discussions addressing key issues stemming from recent supply chain challenges affecting the commercial vehicle and trailer sectors, along with the ongoing driver shortage.

Day One: Focus on Truck Equipment

The first day will concentrate on truck equipment, aimed at professionals including commercial vehicle suppliers, OEMs, trailer manufacturers, fleets, equity analysts, brokers, shippers, and other entities involved in market analysis of Class 4-8 vehicles and trailers.

Day Two: Critical Industry Topics

The second day will tackle important subjects such as the capacity crunch, driver shortfalls, freight demand, spot market pricing, and the recently transformed landscape of contract rates. This day is particularly beneficial for stakeholders in the trucking industry who need a solid grasp of the truck market’s direction.

Insights from Industry Leaders

“The pandemic has disrupted the commercial freight sector, prompting businesses to navigate the aftermath and determine what aspects may revert to pre-2020 conditions and what will define the new normal,” stated FTR officials in a press release. “Participants in the FTR Annual Transportation Conference will gain valuable insights through reliable forecasts, a comprehensive panel of FTR experts, and esteemed thought leaders across all transportation sectors to effectively steer their businesses during these extraordinary times.”

Rail-Related Sessions

An additional rail-focused segment of the conference will take place from September 15-17.
